Lorna Faith, a form four student at Butere Girl’s High School has become a household name in the Kenyan football scenes. Hailing from Busia, she captained the Busia county girls team in the last year’s Talanta Hela competition, leading them to victory and earning the title of the Most Valuable Player in the girls' category.
In addition to her success with the Busia team, Lorna played a pivotal role in her school, helping them win the Kenya Secondary School girls football category for two consecutive years. She was named the MVP of this year’s competition held in Kisii. Furthermore, she was among those selected to represent the country in the Talanta Hela team that went to Spain for the Costa Duarada cup, where they secured a commendable second place.
