The Lionesses are placed in Pool A alongside Belgium, Colombia and Thailand.

The Kenya Lionesses squad for the third leg of the HSBC World Rugby Challenger Series in Poland has been announced today by Head Coach Denis Mwanja. Following their victory in Cape Town, the team took a brief rest before resuming training a week later, with the focus now firmly on the upcoming challenge in Poland.

Coach Mwanja has made one change to the squad that competed in Cape Town, with Faith Livoi missing out on the European tour. However, fans will be excited to see the return of Phoebe Akinyi. Akinyi, who sustained an injury in Poland last year, was sidelined for the remainder of the 2024 season. Her recovery journey has been marked by incredible determination, and she is now ready to make her comeback.

The Lionesses are placed in Pool A alongside Belgium, Colombia and Thailand. Their campaign will kick off on April 11th at 11:50 AM against Belgium. Later, at 3:20 PM, they will face Thailand, before wrapping up their first day of competition with a match against Colombia at 6:28 PM.
