Lack of approved venues causes postponement of AK youth trials
The postponed trials were to be used to select the Kenyan teams to the Africa U18 and U18 Champions from 29 April to 5 May in Lusaka, Zambia.
Athletics Kenya has postponed the U18/U20 Confederation of Africa Athletics (CAA) trials originally slated for 24/25 March in Nairobi.
The postponed trials were to be used to select the Kenyan teams to the Africa U18 and U18 Champions from 29 April to 5 May in Lusaka, Zambia.
The postponement has been occasioned by the unavailability of both the Nyayo and Kasarani Stadia which meet World Athletics competition standards.
AK also urged athletes without passports to embark on the process of acquiring them.
It further advised school-going athletes to seek clearance from their school principals and have their birth certificates verified before vetting day.
