Koranga is a younger sister of Kenya Morans powerhouse forward Ariel Okall.

Kenyan basketball heroine Felmas Koranga who plays her college basketball for Troy University in the USA has claimed a major accolade after being nominated as the preseason Sun Belt Player of the Year. 

Koranga is a younger sister of Kenya Morans powerhouse forward Ariel Okall. Their father, Elijah Koranga played soccer for army side Scarlet and the national team, Harambee Stars and is currently a Sergeant Major in the Kenya Defense Forces.

 She enjoyed a stellar 2022 season in which she led her team with 12.6 points and 10.7 rebounds per game. 



She has previously won the Women Basketball Coaches awards for player of the year, Sun Belt newcomer of the year and several Sun Belt player of the week awards.

Currently undertaking graduate studies in Clinical Mental Health Counselling, Koranga was part of the Kenyan national team that stunned Egypt 99-83 during the 2021 zone 5 qualifiers in Kigali, Rwanda, a result that secured qualification to that year’s  FIBA Women’s Afro Basket competition.
