Twice overlooked for the Head Coach job on a permanent basis, Anthony Kimani leaves Ingwe

Anthony Kimani has left his role as Interim Head Coach at AFC Leopards.

His departure comes hours after his side's 0-0 draw against Gor Mahia in the 89th Mashemeji Derby on FKFPL match day 11 on Sunday 7 February 2021.

Kimani,a former Mathare Utd, Leopards and Kenya defender was in his second stint as Interim Head Coach,having first stood in when Andre Casa Mbungo left the club in December 2019 and again when Thomas Trucha left before the start of the season after landing a job in Malaysia.

Kimani's departure coincides with the arrival in the country of former Simba SC head coach Patrick Aussems who was looked up for the Head Coach job.
