In Nairobi, Kenya Police Bullets FC closed the gap on league leaders Kibera Soccer Women FC to one point by defeating Trinity Queens 3-0.
Catherine Khaemba became the first player to reach double figures in the Kenya Women Premier League, scoring the opening goal as Bungoma Queens triumphed 3-1 over Bunyore Starlets at the Bungoma National Polytechnic. Khaemba, now the top scorer has 10 goals in 11 matches.
Miriam Kurgat and Khaemba’s twin sister, Carolyne Khaemba, completed the scoring for Bungoma, while Ephy Otieno pulled one back for the visitors.

Elsewhere, Vihiga were stunned 1-0 by KISPED Queens, Kisumu All Starlets drew 1-1 with Ulinzi Stars and Zetech Sparks triumphed 3-1 over WADADIA.
After the weekend’s results, Kibera Soccer remain in top spot with 22 points, while Police Bullets move into second with 21 points, surpassing Vihiga, who are on 20 points. WADADIA, Bunyore, and Mombasa Olympic occupy the relegation spots with 4, 6, and 8 points, respectively.
