Kenya to host ITF Africa junior circuit
Kenya Lawn Tennis Association will be hosting the ITF Africa Junior Circuit from the 8th to 15th of August 2013 at the Nairobi Club with the 1st Leg set to be played from 8 - 11th and the 2nd leg from 12- 15th.
The tournament is for players in the 14 & Under and 12 & Under age categories. The event has attracted 89 entries from around Africa. This will be the second major event after the Africa Junior Championships in March.
Confederation of Africa Tennis and ITF are supporting the event, which is part of the overall development program by ITF. The circuits are run throughout the continent, where players accumulate points that are used to give them African rankings in their age categories.
The tournament will see players accumulate important points right from the quarter finals in both singles and doubles events.
