Kenya is among teams that will compete in Group III of the Billie Jean King Cup at the SEB Arena in Vilnius, Lithuania between 15th and 19th June. This competition was previously known as the Fed Cup.
The team, which placed 12th overall during their last outing at the same event in Montenegro two years ago includes Angela Okutoyi, Alicia Owegi, Rosehilda Asumwa and Cynthia Cherut and will be up against the likes of other 22 nations will compete at the SEB Arena namely Algeria, Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bosnia Herzegovina, Botswana, Cyprus, Ghana, Iceland, Ireland, Kosovo, Lithuania, Malta, Montenegro, Namibia, Nigeria, North Macedonia, Norway, Rwanda, South Africa, Uganda, Zimbabwe.
The competition will be played on a round robin basis and features five groups of four teams and one group of three teams. The group winners will contest a play-offs draw to determine which two teams are promoted.
