Kenya Police shot down as Nairobi Simba roars in Kampala
Kenyan representatives at this year’s Africa hockey club championships registered mixed results on Tuesday with Kenya Police losing their second match at the competition after falling 4-1 to Egyptian Police.
The match was tied 1-1 at half time but repeated defensive lapse in the Kenyan team exposed the keeper who soaked in three goals in the second period to put the match beyond reach.
Kenya Police had earlier won their opening match on Saturday defeating Union Bank from Ghana 2 -0.
In another match also played at the same Lugogo grounds on Tuesday, Nairobi Simba were 3-1 winners over Wananchi Of Uganda. In their first match played on Saturday Simba were held to a 2-2 draw by Yobe from Nigeria.
