Kenya Police Bullets have successfully defended their FKF Women’s Premier League title, closing out the 2024/2025 season with a decisive 4-0 win over Trinity Starlets at Afraha Stadium in Nakuru on Sunday.
The result capped off a strong campaign for the side under coach Beldine Odemba, who guided them to 46 points from 21 matches. The Bullets end the season with 13 wins, 7 draws, and only one defeat.
The league victory earns them a spot in the upcoming CAF Women’s Champions League regional qualifiers, set for August. The Confederation of African Football (CAF) is yet to confirm the host country for the tournament.
Striker Rebecca Okwaro played a central role in the final match. She assisted the opener in the 44th minute with a long pass to Emily Moranga and later set up the second goal, a cross from defender Leah Andiema that forced an own goal by Trinity’s Major Merceline in the 55th minute.
Okwaro went on to score twice herself, in the 68th and 85th minutes, bringing her season tally to 16 goals. She finishes the campaign as the league’s top scorer, earning the Golden Boot.
