Kenya Police Bullets Back At The Top

Defending champions Kenya Police Bullets have returned to the summit of the FKF Women’s Premier League after completing Matchday Two with a convincing 2–0 victory over Zetech Sparks at Dandora Stadium on Monday.

The result gave the Bullets a perfect start to their title defence, with two wins from two matches and six points. They had opened their campaign with an emphatic 6–0 victory over Bungoma Queens.

The Bullets had to wait until the second half to break the deadlock, with Terry Engesha putting the champions ahead before Airin Madalina added a second in the 78th minute to secure all three points.

The victory saw Police reclaim top spot after being temporarily displaced during the weekend fixtures. Ulinzi Starlets also maintained a perfect record, beating former champions Vihiga Queens 2–1 in Mumias to move to six points.

Kibera Soccer Women also recorded their second win, edging Mathare United Women 1–0, while Kayole Starlets registered their first victory of the campaign with a 1–0 win over Trinity Starlets.

At the other end of the table, Trinity Starlets, Vihiga Queens and newly promoted Elim Trans Nzoia White Ladies remain without a point after two rounds.
