Kenya Pipeline trounce GSP to win bronze in Cairo

Six time Africa Champions Kenya Pipeline on Monday evening successfully defended their Africa Bronze title with a 3-0 (25-22, 25-17, 25-18) win over Algeria's GSP.
The Kenyan side , under the tutelage of former international Margaret Indakala had their eyes set on a 7th title but their dreams were scuttled by defending champions Al Ahly who eliminated them with a 1-3 victory in the semis on Saturday.
The win over the Algerians was the fourth Bronze crown for the Kenyan champions to be added to their shining history, which include 6 crowns, and 6 silver medals.
Sharon Kiprono was in good form on Monday bagging 17 points for the Kenyan side while Zohra Bensalem had 13 points for the Algerians .
Overall , Kenya Pipeline were better in all the skills making 7-3 advantage in kill blocks, 9-7 in ace services and 42-28 in attacks.
