Kenya Pipeline is the second most successful club in the history of women volleyball with 6 African titles, 8 silver and six bronze with Al Ahly current top best club with 10 African titles.
National women volleyball champions Kenya Pipeline will on Monday evening take on Egyptian side Zamalek in what is promising to be a nail biting finals of the women Africa Club Championships in Tunisia.
Pipeline, will be out to reclaim the crown they last won in 2005 when the competition was held in Nairobi and perhaps an opportunity to keep the title in Kenya after defending champions KCB were bundled out of the competition at the quarter finals.
It will be a hard sail for Pipeline owing to the experience and mettle of their opponents who are out for their first continental crown.
On their way to the finals, Pipeline defeated CF Carthage of Tunisia 3-2 (25-18, 25-27, 23-25, 25-23,15-9) in a five set thrilling match while the Egyptians beat MCA of Algeria 3-1 (25-18, 23-25, 25-17, 25-18).
