Kenya opens campaign against Egypt, South Africa
It will be tough opening fixtures for Kenyan teams in next Monday’s Africa cup of Nations with the men team facing Egypt and ladies facing defending champions South Africa at the City Park Nairobi.
Egypt were late confirmations despite initially withdrawing from the 10th men’s and 7th women’s edition of the continental extravaganza which has been postponed twice.
The team expected in the country on Friday will face the home team on Monday in the tournament opener. The match will take place after the host Kenyan ladies take on the champions South Africa.
On Tuesday, Kenya ladies will play Egypt while the men's team take on Ghana.
Wednesday November 20 will be rest day. On Thursday, Kenya ladies will take on Ghana in the second match of the day while the men face South Africa
