The top eight teams from the first two rounds will progress to the third round of the Challenger Series, scheduled for April 11th-12th in Krakow, Poland.
Kenya Lionesses Head Coach, Dennis Mwanja, has today morn announced the squad that will travel to South Africa next week for the 2025 HSBC Challenger Series. The team will kick off their campaign with the first two rounds at Athlone Stadium in Cape Town, South Africa, on March 1st-2nd and 7th-8th.
The Lionesses have been drawn into Pool D, where they will face Poland and Samoa, aiming for a top-four finish in the overall standings to advance to the HSBC SVNS play off tournament.
Coach Mwanja expressed his confidence in the team, praising their dedication and preparation. “The players have been putting in tremendous effort in training, and I believe they will carry that commitment onto the field. This is a talented and determined group, and I am confident they are ready for the challenge ahead,” Mwanja said.
The squad comprises a blend of experienced players and emerging talents, with Grace Okulu appointed as team captain.
