The draw for the U-17 2025 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) CECAFA qualifiers has been revealed, setting the stage for a thrilling competition that will take place in Uganda from December 14 to December 29, 2024.
This regional qualifying tournament will see top teams from the CECAFA region battle for a spot in the continental tournament set for next year.
Kenya has been placed in Group B, where they will face some of the most formidable teams in the region. The group includes the defending champions, Somalia, as well as South Sudan, who were the runners-up in the previous edition of the tournament.
The Salim Babu led team will need to bring their best performance to advance past these tough competitors.
