Menengai Oilers won the Nakuru Derby, barely just, edging rivals Nakuru 25-18
KCB stayed top of the Kenya Cup with a 24-3 victory over Blak Blad in the early kick off match day five action at the KCB Sports Club in Ruaraka on Saturday 7 January 2023.

Mean Machine won the bottom of the table clash, just edging Masinde Muliro 24-23 at the University of Nairobi. They led 19-6 at the interval and survived a second half rally from the Kakamega side to claim their first victory of the campaign.
Kenya Harlequins maintained their push for the playoffs, steamrolling hosts Catholic Monks 45-15 at the Catholic University of Eastern Africa in Lang’ata.
