KCB got their goals through Hannif Wesonga and Francis Kahiro who found the back of the net in the first and second halves respectively.
KCB have bounced back to winning ways after edging Kakamega Homeboyz 2-0 in a Football Kenya Federation Premier League match played at the Bukhungu Stadium earlier this week.
The two sides ought to have clashed on day one of the season but the game was postponed following Homeboyz' involvement in the CAF Confederation Cup.
Homeboyz were excused back then to honor a Confederation Cup preliminary round return leg match away to Libya's Al Hilal Benghazi.
Prior to the Wednesday league action, KCB had gone for two matches without a win having played Bandari to a barren draw in round three and losing 2-1 to Kariobangi Sharks in round two.
Homeboyz on the other hand had played Gor Mahia to a 1-1draw last weekend, a game that was preceded by a 2-1 win over Tusker.
KCB got their goals through Hannif Wesonga and Francis Kahiro who found the back of the net in the first and second halves respectively.
Kahiro's strike saw him take his tally in the season to two goals while for Wesonga, it was the perfect way to return to the squad after recovering from an injury.
Kahiro trails the leading scorer Benson Omala of Gor Mahia by two goals. Ezekiel Okare, Jackson Macharia, Peter Thiong'o and Dan Wafula also have two goals thus far.
Homeboyz who have won a single game in the season are set to take on Bandari this weekend while KCB will lock horns with record champions Gor.
