Mombasa Olympic, Bunyore Starlets and Wadadia Women have been relegated from the FKF-WPL to the NWSL following a challenging season.
Kayole Starlets have been crowned the overall champions of the 2024/2025 National Women Super League (NWSL) after defeating Zone B winners Soccer Assassins 3-0 in the playoff final.
All three goals were scored in the first half, as the Nairobi-based side stamped their dominance early in the match. Chalovu Sarah opened the scoring in the third minute, setting the tone for a confident performance. Shalyne Otieno added two more before halftime, securing a brace that sealed the title for the Zone A champions.
Kayole Starlets had an impressive league run, finishing their regular season with 50 points from 15 wins, 5 draws, and just 1 loss. Soccer Assassins concluded their Zone B campaign with 45 points, including 13 wins, 6 draws, and 2 losses.
Both teams, along with Gideon Starlets, who earned promotion after a dramatic 5-4 penalty shootout win over Bandari Queens following a 1-1 draw, have secured promotion to the top-tier Football Kenya Federation Women’s Premier League (FKF-WPL) for the upcoming season.
