Kapaito stays on course for FKFPL golden boot

Kapaito, who joined Sharks from FC Talanta was the league's top scorer in 2018 with 16 goals, the same season that he earned his maiden call up to the Kenyan national football team, Harambee Stars. 

Erick Kapaito is on course to bag the 2020/21 FKF Premier League's golden boot. 

The Kariobangi Sharks marksman plundered two more goals in his side's 4-0 demolition job of relegation threatened Vihiga United on Saturday 17 July 2021 to take his tally for the season to 21, equalling Allan Wanga's tally from the 2007 season with Tusker. 

 His closest opponent this season, Elvis Rupia of AFC Leopards remains second with 14 goals as the current season enters its business end.
