In a one sided Kenya Cup Match Day 5 clash at the Kakamega Showground on Saturday, Kabras Sugar ran riot with a resounding 87-0 victory over Mwamba. 

The match featured an exceptional performance from Kenya international winger Derrick Ashihundu, who scored four tries, complemented by Patrick Lumumba's hat-trick. Other try-scorers included Alfred Orege, David Bunduki, Brian Juma, George Nyambua, William Mwanji, and Lameck Ambetsa. 

Ntabeni Dukisa and Eric Cantona shone in the kicking department, managing seven and four conversions respectively. The defending champions maintained their top spot on the league table with 25 points, sharing the lead with KCB but holding a superior goal difference.

 KCB stay second with big win over Leos
KCB maintained second spot on the league table by overpowering Strathmore Leos with a 36-11 win in Ruaraka. The bankers scored six tries, including efforts from Peter Kilonzo, captain Griffin Musila, Austin Sikutwa, Kolian Persian, and Brian Wahinya. Darwin Mukizda, celebrating his 36th birthday, contributed three conversions, securing KCB's position with 25 points. 

Kenya Harlequin returns to third place 
In slippery conditions at the RFUEA, Kenya Harlequin regained third place with a 24-5 victory over Nakuru. All points in this encounter were scored in the first half, with Meshack Tunnechi, Evin Asena, and Leon Nyang making notable contributions. Nakuru faced challenges with two players being sin-binned, ultimately leading to Quins' victory. 

Kisumu Emerges Victorious Over Catholic Monks 
In a closely contested match at the Catholic University, Kisumu secured a crucial 13-10 win against Catholic Monks. Despite the Monks taking an early 7-0 lead, Kisumu's strategic kicking, courtesy of Walter Ambe and Stephen Obadiah, turned the tide. Bress Nyangina and Beve Obuya's penalties solidified Kisumu's lead, with Samuel Omolo's late penalty insufficient for the Monks.
