Injera returns as Shujaa step up Olympic preps with Stellenbosch camp

Injera, an ever present member of Shujaa, was unavailable for the first two training camps in Madrid and Dubai and will be gunning to make a second appearance at the Olympics, having been part of the squad that qualified and played at the 2016 games in Rio de Janeiro.

Record try scorer Collins Injera has been included in a 21 man Shujaa squad that entered residential training at Kasarani ahead of a Rugby Africa solidarity camp set to be held between the 6th and 15th of May in Stellenbosch, South Africa.

The Stellenbosch trip is part of the team’s preparations for July’s Tokyo Olympics and will see the team play a series of round robin fixtures against hosts South Africa, Zimbabwe and Uganda.
