With no sports activities taking place in Kakamega County for an unforeseeable period as a result of COVID-19 control measures by the Kenyan Government, FKF Premier League side Kakamega Homeboyz will play their remaining home fixtures in Nakuru.

Kakamega County is one of several counties inclusive of Busia, Vihiga, Kisii, Nyamira, Bungoma, Kericho, Bomet, Trans Nzoia, Kisumu, Siaya, Homa-Bay and Migori that are under a dusk to dawn curfew and serving a ban on public gatherings inclusive of sporting events.

Homeboyz will play against second placed KCB in Nakuru on Saturday 26 June 2021. 

The side currently sits 10th on the log with 26 points from 19 outings and will be out to frustrate KCB's title ambitions. The bankers currently sit second on the log with 42 points from 20 outings as they stay in the hunt for a maiden league title.
