Hockey League champions to be crowned this weekend

 Kenya Police and Telkom Orange will this weekend be crowned 2013 Kenya Hockey League Champions during a trophy presentation ceremony at the City Park. The ceremony will be held on Sunday afternoon starting 2:00PM.

Police won the title dethroning Nairobi Simba the immediate former champions with a superior goal aggregate against Kisumu Simba who also finished on 28 points.

Despite losing to Strathmore last weekend, Telkom Orange successfully retained their title  as on 42 points with a match in hand they are three points clear with a powerful goal aggregate of 139 goals  having conceded only two goals this season (Goals for 141).

In the men’s league, Kisumu Simba finished second while Nairobi Simba are third with 25 points from 11 matches.
