FIFA has named Stephanie Frappart, Neuza Back, and Karen Diaz as the official refereeing team for the Group E match between Costa Rica and Germany at the Al Bayt Stadium on Thursday.

33-year old French referee, Stephanie Frappart is set to be the main referee while Brazilian Neuza Back and Mexican Karen Diaz will be her assistants.

Stephanie Frappart has been making history and hitting milestones in her career as she was also the first female to referee a Men's Champions League game in 2020 between Juventus and Dynamo Kyiv, UEFA European Super Cup between Liverpool and Chelsea in 2019, and games in Ligue 1.
