Kenya Prisons Men’s volleyball team's quest to clinch their maiden African title came to an end on Monday as they were eliminated in the semi-finals by defending champions Mouloudia Sportive de Bou Salem of Tunisia at the ongoing Africa Men's Club Championships in Cairo, Egypt.
Making a return to the continental stage after over 10 years, the reigning Kenyan Champions had hoped for a finals spot but were stopped by the Tunisian powerhouse, who will now face hosts Al Ahly, who defeated Libya’s Al Naser in straight sets.

Another Kenyan team, Kenya Ports Authority, also failed to shine on Monday as they fell to Algeria’s ASW Blida 3-2 (24-26 / 25-17 / 26-28 / 25-17 / 12-15) in an exciting five-set 5-8 position thriller.
On Tuesday, Kenya Prisons will be looking to return home with at least a medal as they take on Libya’s Al Naser in the Bronze playoffs.
Upon conclusion of the men's finals , the stage will be set for the commencement of the women's edition at the same venues in Cairo starting from 24th of April 2024.
