Ndege takes over from Patrick Korir, who resigned earlier this month after serving in an acting capacity since October 2024.
The Football Kenya Federation (FKF) has officially annonced that Harold Ndege has been appointed as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), following approval by the FKF National Executive Committee (NEC) on Friday. Ndege takes over from Patrick Korir, who resigned earlier this month after serving in an acting capacity since October 2024.
A former Tusker FC defender, Ndege brings over 13 years of experience in managerial roles across both the private and public sectors. He currently serves as the Vice Chair of the east Africa Pamoja AFCON 2027 and CHAN 2025 Finance Committee.
FKF President Hussein Mohammed expressed confidence in Ndege’s ability to lead the federation through the challenges ahead. “Harold Ndege has his work cut out for him, and we are pleased to have finalized this process. His experience in football administration and management will be crucial in steering FKF forward,” Mohammed said. He also acknowledged Patrick Korir’s professionalism during the transition, noting that Korir would continue to guide Ndege during the handover period.
In his new role, Ndege will oversee FKF’s daily operations, with a particular focus on improving governance, financial management, and operational efficiency within the organization.
FKF congratulated Ndege on his appointment and reaffirmed its commitment to creating a transparent, professional, and progressive football environment in Kenya.
