Harambee Stars midfielder Eric Johannah has joined Belgian second tier side Waasland Beveren on a short term contract after leaving Sweden following the expiry of his contract.

The former Mathare United man has inked a six month deal with the club, having left JS Sodra in the Swedish second tier after two seasons.

Johannah hopes that he can inspire the team to promotion into the Belgian top tier and secure himself a longer contract next season.

Having had his star shine for Mathare United, Johannah made his first move out of the country in 2017 where he joined Vasalund IF.

He then moved to IF Brommapojkarna where he spent the 2019 season before making another move to Jönköping Sodra where he played in 55 matches, scoring 14 goals and assisting thrice.
