Harambee Starlets squad for AWCON Qualifier named

Coach David Ouma has named a 26-member Harambee Starlets team for upcoming qualifier against Equatorial Guinea

The National Women’s soccer team coach David Ouma has named his provisional the Harambee Starlets squad expected to do duty for Kenya in an Africa Women Cup of nation’s second round against Equatorial Guinea.

The team reports at Machakos on Wednesday 23rd to start their preparations.

The 26-member team has seven players from high flying Vihiga Queens, six players from Spedag, three from Women's Premier League leaders Thika Queens

Harambee Starlets held Uganda’s Crested Cranes to a barren draw in the second leg first round qualifier match played at  Startimes Stadium in Lugogo, to book a date with Equatorial Guinea who they square it out in a two-legged tie to be played on 4th and 9th June 2018.

The winner of the two-legged tie will qualify for the Africa Women’s Cup of Nations to be held in Ghana from November 17- December 1, 2018
