Aquino becomes the second Kenyan to feature for Simba, following in the footsteps of Bertha Omita who played during the 2020 season.

Gaspo Women and Harambee Starlets midfielder Vivian Corazon Aquino Odhiambo has joined Tanzania high flyers Simba Queens.

Aquino becomes the second Kenyan to feature for Simba, following in the footsteps of Bertha Omita who played during the 2020 season.

She has previously featured for Portuguese top tier side Atletico Ouriense between 2020 and 21 before her stint with FKF Women Premier League side Gaspo during the 2021/22 season.

Named after former Philipines President Corazon Aquino, the forward cut her teeth first at Masa Babes before shining first with Makongeni High School and Olympic High School where she won a national title in 2013.

She would captain the national U17 team in 2014 and has since risen to join the ranks of the senior women’s national team, the Harambee Starlets which she joined in 2016.
