Hakati Sportiff  to face Dagoretti in exciting Nairobi Finals

Hakati were no match for Brookshine Academy, thrashing them 3-0 to zoom into the finals. Lewis Bandi broke the deadlock for the boys from Makadara in the 16th minute to hand them a 1-0 lead at the break.

Hakati Sportiff will take on Dagoretti Mixed in the Chapa Dimba Na Safaricom Nairobi Region finals  at the Jamhuri High School grounds on Sunday.

Hakati were no match for Brookshine Academy, thrashing them 3-0 to zoom into the finals. Lewis Bandi broke the deadlock for the boys from Makadara in the 16th minute to hand them a 1-0 lead at the break.

Upon resumption, they pumped the gears up, Otieno Juma and Lewis Mutava netting in the 59th and 76th Minute to cement the lead and the victory.

Dagoretti on the otehr hand posted the same result against the Kenya School of Government. ‘Dago’ sealed the tie in the opening half, Jamin Mongoi, Felix Okoth and Victor Hagai scoring in the 9th, 29th and 31st Minute respectively.

“I am happy that I scored the opening goal to give my team the confidence to put up a good fight and win. Looking at tomorrow’s game, we shall listen to our coaches, keep up the team work and pray to God that He may deliver the win to us, “said Bandi after the comfortable win.

In the  women finals, defending champions Acakoro Ladies remained on course to defend their girls’ title after whitewashing St. Anne’s Eaglets 5-1 in the semi-finals at the Jamhuri High School on Saturday.
