Gor Mahia hosts USM Alger of Algeria in the second CAF Confederations Cup Group D match at the Kasarani Stadium in Nairobi on Wednesday 16th May from 7 pm.

The much-anticipated clash will be aired live by SuperSport Channel 9, SuperSport Select 2 and beIN Sports Channel 3 on High Definition.

Tickets for the match are already on sale at Ksh 200 for regular and Ksh 500 for VIP seats.

Confederations of African Football (CAF) has appointed three Mali referees to oversee the Gor vs USM clash. Mahamadou Keita will be the centre referee with fellow countrymen Moriba Diakite and Drissa Kamory Niare as 1st assistant referee and  2nd assistant referee respectively.

Gor Mahia will miss the services of the dependable Meddie Kagere due to suspension. A home win for Gor Mahia is crucial as away matches at this stage are difficult to win.USM Alger tops the group on three points after a 4-0 thrashing of Yanga of Tanzania while Gor are second on a single point collected from the 1-1 draw with Rayon Sports of Rwanda.

Meanwhile, random doping tests will be conducted immediately after the Gor vs USM at Kasarani. Dr Mustafa Mofty from CAF will oversee the process whose aim is to promote openness and fairness.

Two players from each side and an official will help the random picking of jersey numbers for players to be tested fifteen minutes to the end of the match. After the match, the selected players will provide urine samples which will be tested.

The Kenyan Premier League has taken the players through Anti-Doping Training recently.
