Bandari's victory moves them into second place with 19 points, while Gor Mahia climbed to fifth with 14 points. KCB remained at the top with 22 points.

Reigning champions Gor Mahia scored twice in the dying minutes to secure a 2 – 0 victory over Mara Sugar in the FKF Premier League match in Homabay on Saturday, 30th November, 2024.

The match which was highly anticipated considering newly promoted Mara Sugar fantastic form and Gor Mahia looking to continue their bounce back into winning ways after the dismissal of their coach, Leonardo Neiva. Both teams fought hard for the win but it was Gor Mahia who broke the deadlock in the 86th minute. Defender Roonie Onyango skillfully evaded an opponent and delivered a superb cross to Austine Odhiambo, who headed it home with ease.

In added time, Odhiambo turned provider, setting up DR Congo striker Gedeon Bendeka who doubled Gor Mahia's lead to seal the victory.

 

Elsewhere, Bandari triumphed 1-0 over Nairobi City Stars thanks to an early goal from Michael Apudo in the 4th minute. League leaders KCB were held to a goalless draw by Bidco United, while Talanta also failed to secure a win, drawing 0-0 with Posta Rangers.
