At the Police Pavillion grounds, the much talked about clash pitting the law enforcers against Muranga Seal ended 2-0 in favour of the hosts.

Defending champions Gor Mahia have shot to the summit of the Football Kenya Federation Premier League after edging Kariobangi Sharks 2-1at Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos.

The slim win has seen the record champions open a two-point advantage at the top after Posta Rangers  who lost 1-0 to Nairobi City Stars on Saturday.

Gor took the lead in the first half through Alpha Onyango who whipped the ball hard from outside the box, beating the fully-stretching Kevin Ouru.

Ghai Panchol replied for Sharks, beating the off side trap to tap the ball hope from close range much to the dismay of Gor fans who felt that the goal should not have stood.

Second half substitute Lawrence Juma struck the winning goal for Gor deep into stoppage time.

At the same time, Kakamega Homeboyz scaled to the third slot after flooring Bidco United 1-0 at Bukhungu Stadium.

Christopher Masinza scored the lone goal in the first half to see Homeboyz stretch their recent winning streak to four matches.

in Bungoma , Nzoia Sugar's poor run continued after losing 3-1 to Sofapaka at the Sudi Stadium.

Fiston Abdul Razak netted a brace with Darius Msagha adding the third one for the former champions.

Emmanuel Osoro managed the consolation goal for Nzoia who finished with ten men after Benson Mangala saw red.

Bandari returned to winning ways after downing Muhoroni Youth 1-0 at Mbaraki Stadium.

Derrrick Nsibambi scored the winner for the dockers.
