Homa Bay’s Gideon Starlets have earned promotion to the Kenya Women’s Premier League (KWPL) after edging out Bandari Queens 4-2 on penalties following a goalless draw in regular time at the ASK Grounds in Nakuru on Saturday afternoon.

Meanwhile, in the FKF Women’s Division One playoffs held at the same venue, Diani Queens edged TUK Ravens 1-0 in a tightly contested clash. In the second fixture, Iron Ladies overcame Lowland Queens 5-4 on penalties after a 1-1 draw in regulation time.
Diani Queens and Iron Ladies will now battle it out for the Division One title in the final scheduled for Sunday at 10:00 AM, also at the ASK Grounds.
