A late first half goal from Joseph Mulongo was enough for Fortune Sacco FC to defeat Samwest Blackboots, securing their third consecutive win and maintaining their position at the top of the National Super League on Saturday November 9th, 2024.
Fortune dominated possession and dictated play on set but failed to transition their dominance into a goal until the 39th minute when Mulongo broke the deadlock. With the victory, they end Samwest’s three game unbeaten run and now have 17 points from eight games, having lost just once in the new campaign.
At Bomet Stadium, second half substitute Evans Kipkemoi made an immediate impact, scoring just four minutes after his introduction in the 46th minute to give APS Bomet a 1 – 0 win over Mombasa Coast Stima.
