Kibera Soccer Women look poised to go for the Kenya Women Premier League title having acquired notable names including Yvvone Kavere ‘Master’ and Ann Arusi.
Yvvone Kavere, the immediate former captain of Zetech Sparks has announced her move to Kibera Soccer Women. After sharing a heartfelt message for the Zetech Sparks family at the weekend, she took to social media to share the exciting news on her move.
“I’m thrilled to announce that I’ve officially joined Kibera Soccer Women. To everyone who has been asking about my next move. The support and warm welcome from the team and fans have been incredible. Asanteni Sana.” She stated.
Last season. Kavere played a key role in helping Zetech Sparks secure a seventh-place finish in the league, earning 17 points in 20 games. In contrast, her new club Kibera soccer women finished fourth with 32 points, just 12 points shy of third-place Ulinzi Stralets.
