FKFPL Sunday Round Up: Sharks pip Gor in seven goal thriller as Tusker win on the road
Sunday’s FKF Premier League action saw a seven goal thriller at Kasarani, an away win in Kakamega and a stalemate in Bungoma.

Kariobangi Sharks topped the seven goal thriller at Kasarani courtesy of John Kuol’s 78th minute header that gave them the 4-3 result over defending champions Gor Mahia.
Eric Kapaito opened the day’s proceedings with a 5th minute goal to put the Sharks ahead but Gor’s response came nine minutes later through Cliff Miheso’s equalizer.
Kapaito then struck his brace five minutes from half time, his effort topping up Daniel Sakari’s 19th minute goal to give Sharks a 3-1 lead at the brace.
Gor responded with goals from John Macharia (52nd minute) and Joachim Oluoch (66th) before Kuol nodded home the match winner, giving Sharks all three points as they stayed second and unbeaten on the log after four wins and three draws from their outings thus far. This was Gor’s second defeat in their three outings to date, a result that sees them stay in sixteenth position.

Visiting Tusker climbed to third on the log, Henry Mejja’s 73 minute goal the difference as they edged hosts Kakamega Homeboyz at the Bukhungu. The loss sees Homeboyz drop to fourteenth on the log.

Baron Oketch’s 6th minute goal gave visiting Western Stima the lead at the Sudi Stadium in Bungoma before Nzoia skipper Gin Peter’s goal midway through the first half rescued a point for the hosts.
