FKFPL Sunday Round Up: Rupia's brace sees Leopards end KCB's unbeaten run, Oburu spares Wazito's blushes

The last unbeaten record in the FKF Premier League fell on Sunday afternoon when AFC Leopards rallied from a goal down to defeat leaders KCB 2-1 at Kasarani.

Elvis Rupia was Ingwe’s toast, his brace putting an end to the bankers 100% record but more importantly handing his side a win over a side considered to be their bogey side.
Simon Mwangi handed KCB what seemed to be a dream start, his 24th minute goal giving the bankers a 1-0 lead.
Rupia was on hand to restore parity for Ingwe, his goal on 29 minutes seeing the two sides tied at the interval. He then scored the match winner in the 57th minute, Leopards leaving Kasarani with all three points, KCB left to ponder what went wrong as their six match winning streak ground to a halt.
Leopards are currently placed fith on the log with 12 points coming off 4 wins and 2 losses while KCB stayed top despite the defeat, their 18 points coming off six wins and the solitary defeat.
Bidco United 1 Wazito 2
Former AFC Leopards striker Vincent Oburu spared Wazito’s blushes, grabbing a last ditch goal that handed them a 2-1 win over Bidco United.
Thika based Bidco stunned their opponents when they went ahead through Nelson Chieta’s 27th minute goal, handing them a 1- 0 lead, a lead that they took into the interval.
Wazito responded two minutes after the break, Dennis Shikayi’s goal bringing the score to 1-1 before Oburu, on as a second half substitute scored late to hand Wazito the all important win which sees them stay fourth on the log with 14 points off four wins, two draws and two defeats while Bidco sit eleventh with 8 points from nine outings.
Vihiga United 0 Posta Rangers 1
Vihiga United were unable to utilize home ground advantage, falling 1-0 to visiting Posta Rangers courtesy of Willis Odero’s 70th strike at the Mumias Complex. This was Rangers first win of the season and it takes them to eighth on the log with 9 points off eight outings while Vihiga now sit sixteenth, their 5 points coming off one win, two draws and five losses.
