Bandari got off to a flying start with a 3-0 win over Mathare United at the Mbaraki Stadium in Mombasa. The goals for the dockers came from Whyvonne Isuza who grabbed a brace and Umaru Kasumba.

Newly promoted Vihiga Bullets played out a scoreless draw with Bidco United at the Bukhungu Stadium in Kakamega. Another FKFPL rookie, Talanta held Wazito to a 1-1 draw at Ruaraka. Brian Yakhama struck a penalty for Talanta with ten minutes to play, cancelling out Michael Owino’s first half goal for Wazito.
