Tusker FC, winners of the 2020/21 crown will be out to defend their title and will have to put up with the challenge from a chasing pack that includes immediate former champions Gor Mahia as well as KCB, Wazito,AFC Leopards, Bandari and Sofapaka.

The new FKF Premier League season returns on Saturday 25 September 2021 and is expected to run until 11 June 2022. 

Tusker FC, winners of the 2020/21 crown will be out to defend their title and will have to put up with the challenge from a chasing pack that includes immediate former champions Gor Mahia as well as KCB, Wazito,AFC Leopards, Bandari and Sofapaka.

This year's competition reverts to an 18 team format after the promotion of FC Talanta, Vihiga Bullets and a third side whose fate will be determined on Sunday 19 September 2021.
