The field in the FKF Women’s Cup was further trimmed to eight following conclusion of the Round of 16 matches on the weekend of 27th and 28th February.

The field in the FKF Women’s Cup was further trimmed to eight following conclusion of the Round of 16 matches on the weekend of 27th and 28th February.

Saturday’s action saw two matches decided on penalties. Kisumu All Starlets edged Trans Nzoia Falcons 5-4 on penalties after the two sides were 2-2 at the close of regulation and extra time. Bunyore Starlets also advanced to the quarters after defeating hosts Oserian 5-4 on penalties after the two teams were tied scoreless after regulation and extra time.

Kayole Starlets made light work of Mukuru Talent Academy, stopping them 5-1 as Ulinzi Starlets posted a 5-0 result over Sunderland Samba.

Sunday’s fixtures saw Gaspo crush Makolanders 7-0 while Zetech Sparks defeated Kibera Soccer Ladies 5-4 on penalties after they had played out a 1-1 draw.

Wadadia registered a 3-2 win over SEP Ladies as Vihiga Queens stopped Nyuki Starlets 4-0.
