Teams that will taste defeat in the playoffs will be among the first to get slots in the Super League according to Nabwire.
Football Kenya Federation is set to bridge the gap between the third and top tier by introducing the Women's National Super League in the 2023-2024 season.
There has been a massive gap between the two competitions in the past but according to the federation, a tier will be fixed in between starting in the new campaign.
The head of football at Kandanda House Doreen Nabwire confirmed that at least eight teams will participate in the Super League.
"It is true we will have the Women's Super League from next season. We are anticipating to have at least eight teams in the league," said the former Harambee Starlets skipper.
The top teams in the Division One zones and those which will prevail in the playoffs will sail through to the Premier League as it has been the norm.

"We are still working on the modalities and how we will come up with the team's that will play in the second tier," she added without divulging more.
Clubs that withdrew from the Division One league that is set to conclude this weekend will start life in the regional league in the new term.
Meanwhile, the transfer window is set to close on September 29 at 1700 hrs. The window was opened on July 21.
"In this regard, we hereby wish to notify all clubs scheduled to participate in the FKF Women Premier League, FKF Women National Super League and FKF Division One league 2023-2024 season that the first registration period/transfer window officially opened Friday July 21,and shall run for ten weeks until Friday September 29," read a communique to clubs from the federation.
