FKF drops Odibets as motivation partner

The two parties had in December 2019 inked a Sh127 million deal  aimed at growing local talent at the grass-root level.

Football Kenya Federation has ended it's partnership with local betting firm, Odibets.

A statement from the Federation sent out on Wednesday 22 September 2021 reads, "The Football Kenya Federation has terminated its partnership with Odibets with immediate effect due to breach of contract by the betting firm."

“The federation remains committed to developing win-win partnerships for the good of the game and will continue to engage wholeheartedly with partners who share our commitment and vision for the growth of the game in Kenya.”

The two parties had in December 2019 inked a Sh127 million deal  aimed at growing local talent at the grass-root level.

The three-year deal was to see all FKF County Leagues renamed Odibets County Leagues
