The Sports Disputes Tribunal cancelled the elections last year over what it termed as an irregularly constituted board while the code was said to have been passed without public participation.

“We have everything in place and we will wait to hear what the delegates say then finish up with this election story once and for all,” current FKF boss Nick Mwendwa said.

A group led by former FKF boss Sam Nyamweya and former Vihiga governor Moses Akaranga went to the tribunal to dispute the electoral code and the board put in place, winning their case and leading the tribunal to cancel the branch and sub branch elections.

The FKF presidential polls which were yet to be conducted were cancelled.
