Eshikuru to miss big fight

Forward Francis Eshikuri is expected to miss Saturday’s match pitting Kenya Police and Parkroad in a rearranged men hockey premier league match.The match was supposed to go down last weekend but was rained off with the cops leading 1-0 in the opening eight minutes.

 During the encounter,  Eshikuri  picked a head  injury after he was it by a stick and had two stitches on the head and is said to be responding well.

“Besides the forward the rest of the team is fine looking forward to playing on Saturday.The players are fit and in fine form going by the trainings we have held.” explained Kenya Police team manager Tom Odeng.

“We have to keep winning and extend our lead at the top. Our other  target is to go undefeated in the league and reclaim our title.” He added.

 Police lead the table standings with 15 points five ahead of second placed United States International University Africa USIU-A.
