Dudi leads all women team to officiate Womens Kenya Cup final

Dudi, who attributes her continued growth in the game to Coach Match Officials, most notably Peris Mukoko, has risen through the national referee pathway and Saturday’s fixture will be her first major final.

Mercy Dudi leads an all women team that will officiate the Women’s Kenya Cup final between Impala Roans and Mwamba at the Impala Club on Saturday 19 March 2022.

Dudi, a teacher by profession, is based at Waso Secondary School in Isiolo County.

She started her officiating journey in 2015 at the Eastern region school games when girl’s rugby was introduced in that part of the country.

Dudi, who attributes her continued growth in the game to Coach Match Officials, most notably Peris Mukoko, has risen through the national referee pathway and Saturday’s fixture will be her first major final.

She will be assisted by Noreen Liyosi and Beril Akinyi while Mukoko will be the CMO (Coach Match Official) and performance reviewer.
