The window was given by Senior Principal Magistrate Eunice Nyuttu in Nairobi on Tuesday 21 December 2021.

Director of Public Prosecutions, Noordin Haji, has been given a 30 day window by the Anti Corruption Court to supply evidence in the Ksh 38m graft case against embattled FKF President Nick Mwendwa.

The window was given by Senior Principal Magistrate Eunice Nyuttu in Nairobi on Tuesday 21 December 2021.

In granting the extension, Nyuttu said, “I allow the request by the DPP and fix this case to be mentioned on January 24,2022.”

The Mwendwa administration has been under increased scrutiny over its management style, particularly financial and governance issues that came to a head on Thursday 11 November 2021 when Kenya's Cabinet Secretary for Sports - Amina Mohamed, upon receiving the report of a Government sponsored probe on the organization, disbanded the FKF, replacing it with a Caretaker Committee under the leadership of retired judge Aaron Ringera.
