Denmak emerged 5-4 victors after holding Gor to a barren stalemate in regulation time.

Lower tier side Denmak FC secured a spot in the FKF Cup round of 16 after pulling off a shock result against reigning FKF Premier League champions Gor Mahia FC in Ukunda on Sunday 25 February 2024.

In the earlier kick off at the same venue, Tusker FC secured a 2-1 victory over Bumbani Stars. The visitors took an early lead through Daniel Sakari who found the net in the 24th minute, carrying the advantage into halftime.

In the second half, Eric Zakayo extended Tusker’s lead with a goal in the 65th minute. Despite Saidi Zamani pulling one back for the hosts just four minutes later, the match concluded with a final score of 2-1.

Meanwhile, the early kick-off at Police Sacco Stadium witnessed Zetech Titans and Mara Sugar battling to a goalless draw in regular time. The deadlock persisted, leading to a penalty shootout, where Mara Sugar emerged victorious with a 4-3 scoreline.

In other matches defending champions Kakamega Homeboyz secured a 2-0 victory against Solian City FC  while Kariobangi Sharks overcame a resilient Nyamira Super Eagles by a 1-0 scoreline.
