Bungoma Queens bounced back to winning ways, halting Zetech Sparks impressive run with a 3 – 1 victory on Saturday November 23rd ,away at Dandora Stadium.
Bungoma who had drawn 2 – 2 with Ulinzi Starlets in their previous match were the first to break the deadlock in the first half through Catherine Khaemba, with the teams heading to the break with Bungoma leading 1 – 0.
In the second half, the visitors added two more through Timona Zareti and Caroline Khaemba, while Monalizer Anyango pulled one for Zetech Sparks with a fantastic free kick.
Notably, Milicent Ayuwa alias Dem Wa Facebook made her debut for Bungoma Queens, coming on as a second half substitute.
In other league encounters, Wadadia were held to a 1 – 1 draw by Kisumu All-stars. Everlyne Akala and Cynthia Otieno were on the score sheet for their respective clubs.
